I don't know if anybody out there checks our blog anymore for updates....but just in case you do, we want to invite you to a "Thank you Picnic" at our house on Sunday, June 14, 2009. We want to do this as a way of honoring the wonderful people in our lives!
Carl's orthopedic surgeon is planning to come to the picnic, along with some of the nurses from Lancaster General Hospital and the Rehab Center. We have invited Carl's therapists and others who helped with his medical care. Both of our extended families will be here. And we want to invite anyone who drove Carl to and from physical therapy, those who brought meals for our family, helped with clean up around our property, those who visited and prayed and supported us in any way... if you are reading this blog, you probably qualify!
We are serving a Chicken Barbeque meal in our back yard from 5:30-7:00pm. Even if you can't make it for the meal, you are welcome to come by any time after that.
We ask that you RSVP to 717-768-8093 (or just leave a comment on our blog) if you plan to be here for the meal, or if you need directions to our home. Otherwise, you can just show up any time throughout the evening without calling.
