I want to share a story with those of you who understand the Pennsylvania Dutch Dialect. My apologies to those of you who don't...
We were at a restaurant last night and as we were looking at the dessert menus, I said to Carl, "Look hon, they have sorbet. You want some?" His immediate response: "No thanks, I already have two."
Get it?! "Sore bey?"
OK,so maybe you had to be there. But I thought it was very funny.
Note: The word "bey" in PA Dutch means "leg."
