Saturday

Today was another "restful" day. Dad seems tired but not as groggy as yesterday.
He still has the hiccups some times during the day. The nurses have doubled the hiccup medicine he was taking.
This afternoon, the physical therapists helped him move from his bed to his chair and back. He sat on the chair for two hours. He likes to stay active as much as possible in his upper body.
They also started another blood transfusion for him this evening. We think this is so that his hemoglobin count stays high enough for his surgery on Monday.
