Hey Uncle Carl,
We were so sorry to hear about your accident, but so happy you are alive and that you WILL make a full recovery with no pain or limp!
We love you and will continue to pray for you and your family.

Sooooo sweet and such a testimony to your life Carl! Well done. To have your kids right there when you need them most, even for their naps, only means there were times when you and Fan have done the same for them. They must have had an amazing models to learn from.

Thanks to all of you for the great way you keep us informed. I love modern technology. :)

Still praying for you,
Sharon & Mike Martin

Hi Fan,
I have been praying for you and your family. My heart aches for all of you. Carl is a strong-spirited person and that will take him a long way. I stand with you on a full and complete recovery for him. Fan, take one day (minute/hour)at a time, it's letting your mind go to far ahead that can give you unrest. God will give you strength to go through each day. I pray for peace and strength to surround you. I will be in to see you soon.
Love,
Becky Smoker

Hi Smucker Family - LOVE the nap photos! Hope you all are getting massages from the nurses! I have had a few verses going round inside for Carl:
Psalm 37:23
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. (You are a GOOD man Carl and God will direct your steps - each step to recovery and each step that your feet will take anew!)

1 Corinthians 9:24
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. (Run Carl, Run - to get the prize that one day you will RUN again!)

Acts 3:6
Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

Isaiah 30:21
And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

Hugs to you all,
Dawn and all

We are thinking and praying for you all the time. The blog is a great way to keep everyone informed without having to repeat yourself! What a great support you have for a complete and swift recovery.

Sam wanted to let Carl know that the load arrived safely for the Make-A-Wish child yesterday.

We pray that you will continue to take one day at a time and have peace knowing that God was not caught off guard but already waiting to walk you through this tough time.

Love,
Sam & Sandi
